I'm Matthew Cohen, Founder of NEST and a Licensed Therapist in New York and New Jersey, specializing in mental health and addiction treatment.

Before establishing NEST, I served as Clinical Director for The Safe Foundation’s New Jersey branch. During my seven years at Safe, I gained extensive experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of mental health and addiction challenges.

Beyond clinical practice, I am passionate about community engagement. I teach Project SAFE to high school students, equipping them with essential knowledge and skills to navigate mental health, substance use, and other real-world challenges.

My therapeutic approach is always tailored to each client's unique needs. I focus on creating an empathetic, supportive environment where personal growth and healing can flourish.
